  2. When the ship gets close enough, the Mariner sees cages on the ship.
  3. The Ancient Mariner cuts himself so he can drink his own blood so he doesn’t die of thirst.
  4. Another reason why he drinks his own blood is because he needs to be able to talk.
  5. When the ship got close enough he saw the woman (who was considered death) eh saw her gambling.
  6. All of the sailors ha died.
  7. Death won the gamble.
